A major state government agency in Lincoln had a serious challenge—teams in different departments weren’t collaborating, presentations lacked spark, and communication felt stiff. So they booked an improv‑based workshop downtown in the Haymarket District.

We started with 4–8 people bubbles in each small group for trust‑building exercises. For the main session of 120 state officials, we had three instructors rotating across breakout clusters. Early on we offered games like “Yes, and…” to build active listening and positive reinforcement—suddenly, silence turned into laughter and connection.

One breakout group led by Instructor A tackled agility by improvising rapid scenario shifts (“the client just changed priorities mid‑project!”)—perfect practice for real office pivots. Meanwhile Instructor B focused on presentation creativity: participants had to pitch absurd products on the spot, then bring it back to policy ideas—boosting creativity and confidence under pressure.

A medium‑sized team (around 30) worked with Instructor C on leadership: rotating through who called “scenes,” they experienced directing and supporting in real time.

By the end, the agency noted clearer communication across departments, smoother presentations to legislators, and a more collaborative culture. People reported feeling more agile, more creative—and yes, even empowered.

This was not a dry lecture: it was playful, interactive, super‑approachable, and deeply practical. Would you join a session like that?

We serve the greater Lincoln area, including Downtown, Haymarket, East Campus, University Place, Pioneers Boulevard corridor (Fallbrook area), North 27th corridor (Clinton/Uptown), College View, Bethany, Country Club, Highlands, Havelock, Taylor Park, Eastridge
