Julia Marcelis
Treasurer of Students Against Gravity, Babson College
Julia Marcelis (they/them) is a clown, improviser, and junior at Babson College, near Boston. Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, their passion for improv comedy was fostered by studying clowning with master instructors from Cirque du Soleil and Ringling Bros. Jumping into the world of improv felt like a natural next step out of the circus tent for them.
As Treasurer of Babson's Students Against Gravity Improv, Julia has mastered the delicate art of managing bureaucratic student government systems. With a passion for telling inclusive stories, Julia is also on the executive board for CSAW Circus.
When not making audiences laugh, you can find Julia walking through the woods, writing amateur poetry, or knee-deep in Excel spreadsheets.
