Patrick Hampton

Corporate Instructor / Teacher

Patrick Hampton has been performing and teaching improv for over a decade in Boston, Baltimore, New York City, and Colorado. He trained with the Baltimore Improv Group and is a graduate of the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York.


As an instructor, Patrick began teaching students and coaching teams in Baltimore, where he also served as a learning facilitor for improv-based corporate events. After moving to colorado, Patrick founded Improv Boulder, where he served as the founding Artistic Director and head instructor, designing its curriculum and teaching its advanced classes for its over 300 person community.


As a performer, he is a founding member of Go Dummy Comedy, a House Team performer at the Baltimore Improv Group, and producer and host of “Big Fat Juicy Desk Concerts”, which enjoyed a sold-out run at the Caveat Theater in Manhattan. Additionally, he has performed and produced shows with Saturday Night Live, The Daily Show, and Colbert Report alumni. He is a collaborator with the SNL sketch team “Please Don’t Destroy” and has appeared in some of their sketches. 


Patrick is a non-profit professional and fundraiser in his day job, and Improv inspires his work through honoring the art form’s core tenets. Teamwork, listening, and communication are key values in improv comedy, and Patrick enthusiastically embraces these values in how they translate to work and life.
