Blad Moreno

Blad is an improviser, actor, and trainer whose work blends improvisation, physical theater, and clowning techniques. His artistic journey began more than 20 years ago at the Music Conservatory in Venezuela where he studied opera singing, before expanding into movement-driven performance at the Taller Experimental de Teatro in Caracas, continuing Improv studies at Universidad El Bosque in Bogotá, and later completing diverse programs at The Second City Training Center, iO Theater and ComedySportz in Chicago.

Blad has performed across Latin America, the United States, and Europe, bringing his bilingual background to audiences being his flagship project the duo Improñol.

His teaching philosophy emphasizes that improv is a full-body art form, a practice of movement, voice, and play where discovery and risk-taking become tools for creativity, with a multidisciplinary background including Music, Theater, Dancing, Computer Science and Fitness, Blad creates unique workshops that integrate clowning, physical storytelling, a touch of geekiness to coach students to unlock authentic expression and human connection.
